Is this Ganache Parfums or Haught Parfums?
No. While I'm the creator and perfumer behind both Haught Parfums and Ganache Parfums, Broun Suga Co. is a separate, independent brand. Full transparency: I'm currently using the old Haught Parfums Shopify storefront as the foundation for the new Broun Suga Co. website.
Where is my order?
I'm currently a one-person operation. Perfume-making is my passion, but I also work full-time, so every order is handled with care — which sometimes means it takes a little longer than a big-box retailer. Quality is never rushed.
Here's how the shipping cycle works:
Orders placed Sunday–Thursday typically ship the following Friday or Saturday. The most up-to-date processing and shipping times are always shown in the banner at the top of the site and in the Terms & Conditions at checkout.
Once your label is printed, you'll get an email confirming your order has moved to "Shipped" status. This means it's in the packaging stage — it can take up to 4 business days for the courier to pick it up.
Once tracking updates to "In Transit," your order is officially on its way. Use the tracking number provided for all delivery updates.
Can I return my order if it doesn't work for me?
Because cosmetics can't be resold once opened or used, I'm unable to accept returns on opened or used products. To help you shop with confidence, I offer samples of every fragrance so you can try before committing to a full-size bottle.
Shipping isn't always gentle — if your order arrives leaking or damaged, please contact me as soon as you receive it and I'll make it right.
What "base" or "carrier" do you use?
My perfume base is a custom blend of 200-proof denatured ethanol, plant-based oils, vitamin E, and distilled water.
Do your perfumes contain parabens, sunscreens, or colorants?
No. I do use a lot of natural essential oils and tinctures, though, so you may notice slight, natural color variation between batches — that's the essential oils, not an additive.
Do you use only natural fragrance ingredients?
No. I use natural essential oils and absolutes in nearly every fragrance to add depth and complexity, alongside high-quality synthetic aroma materials.
Do you use animal ingredients? Are your products vegan? Do you test on animals?
I never use animal musk, civet, or castoreum — when those notes appear in a fragrance, they're always synthetic. All testing is done on human volunteers (friends, family, and other kind people), never animals. A small number of fragrances do include animal-derived ingredients, such as beach-found ambergris or ethically sourced beeswax; whenever that's the case, it's always listed clearly in the notes.
Do you sell men's cologne?
Fun fact: "cologne" doesn't actually mean a fragrance is made for men — that distinction largely comes from fragrance industry marketing. Traditionally, "cologne" refers to a lighter fragrance concentration, not the intended wearer.
All of my fragrances are unisex, though some may appeal more to one person than another — that's entirely a matter of personal taste. Samples are available for every fragrance, so you can find what works best for you.
